Draft Genome Sequence of Methylocapsa palsarum NE2T, an Obligate Methanotroph from Subarctic Soil.
Kirill K. Miroshnikov,Alena Didriksen,Daniil G. Naumoff,Marcel Huntemann,Alicia Clum,Manoj Pillay,Krishnaveni Palaniappan,Neha Varghese,Natalia Mikhailova,Supratim Mukherjee,T. B. K. Reddy,Chris Daum,Nicole Shapiro,Natalia Ivanova,Nikos C. Kyrpides,Tanja Woyke,Svetlana N. Dedysh,Mette M. Svenning +17 more
TL;DR: The genome sequence of this typical inhabitant of subarctic wetlands and soils also contains genes indicative of aerobic anoxygenic photosynthesis.
Journal ArticleDOI
RNA polymerase--promoter recognition. Specific features of electrostatic potential of "early" T4 phage DNA promoters.
S. G. Kamzolova,Victor Sivozhelezov,Anatoly Sorokin,T. R. Dzhelyadin,Natalia Ivanova,R. V. Polozov +5 more
TL;DR: A specific change in profiles of electrostatic potential distribution for the native and ADP-ribosylated forms of RNA polymerase α-subunit was observed suggesting that this factor may be responsible for modulating T4 promoter activities in response to the enzyme modification.
Journal ArticleDOI

Visualizing Transitions and Structure for Biological Data Exploration
Kevin R. Moon,David van Dijk,Zheng Wang,Scott Gigante,Daniel B. Burkhardt,William Tzu-Liang Chen,Antonia van den Elzen,Matthew J. Hirn,Ronald R. Coifman,Natalia Ivanova,Guy Wolf,Smita Krishnaswamy +11 more
TL;DR: PHATE as mentioned in this paper is a visualization method that captures both local and global nonlinear structure in data by an information-geometry distance between datapoints, which consistently preserves a range of patterns in data including continual progressions, branches, and clusters.
Journal ArticleDOI
