Suppression Of Uninvolved Immunoglobulin Has Significant Clinical Implication Including Predicting Relapse In Multiple Myeloma
Saulius Girnius,Rachel Neuwirth,Dixie-Lee Esseltine,Kenneth C. Anderson,Paul G. Richardson,Munshi C Nikhil +5 more
TL;DR: Patients with normal baseline uninvolved Ig have better TTP, and OS; that improvement in UIg correlates with improved TTP and OS and importantly UIg suppression can occur 2 months prior to disease progression, confirming a benefit to monitoring uninvolved immunoglobulins in myeloma.
Journal ArticleDOI
Early Clinical Predictors of Hepatic Veno-Occlusive Disease after Myeloablative Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation: A Single-Center Report of 205 Cases
Journal ArticleDOI
A Detailed Alternate Splicing Landscape in Multiple Myeloma with Significant Potential Biological and Clinical Implications
Anil Aktas Samur,Mehmet Kemal Samur,Stephane Minvielle,Florence Magrangeas,Mariateresa Fulciniti,Raphael Szalat,Paul G. Richardson,Kenneth C. Anderson,Michel Attal,Philippe Moreau,Giovanni Parmigiani,Hervé Avet-Loiseau,Nikhil C. Munshi,Nikhil C. Munshi +13 more
TL;DR: This study for the first time reports a detailed splicing landscape in myeloma and highlights the biological and clinical importance of alternative splicing events, suggesting the need to further integrate study of spliced isoform in biological studies, in understanding disease behaviors as well as develop targeted therapeutics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adults Receiving Defibrotide for the Treatment of Hepatic Veno-Occlusive Disease/Sinusoidal Obstruction Syndrome (VOD/SOS) after Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT): Final Results From the Expanded-Access Program (T-IND)

Journal ArticleDOI
Anatomy of a Successful Practice-Changing Study: A Blood and Marrow Transplantation Clinical Trials Network-National Cancer Institute Cooperative Group Collaboration
Sergio Giralt,Philip L. McCarthy,Kenneth C. Anderson,Shelly L. Carter,Paul G. Richardson,S. Vincent Rajkumar,Ginna G. Laport,Edward A. Stadtmauer,Marcelo C. Pasquini,Mary M. Horowitz +9 more
TL;DR: On April 10, 2010 the Institutes of Medicine released its report, A National Cancer Clinical Trials System for the 21st Century: Reinvigorating the NCI Cooperative Group Program, which called for major efforts to improve the speed and efficiency of design, launch, and conduct of cancer clinical trials.
