Journal ArticleDOI

Aerosol and trace gas measurements during the mace head experiment

TL;DR: In this paper, the results of a EUROTRAC Air Sea Exchange intensive measurement campaign were presented, which was conducted between the 9th and 23rd of April 1991 at the Mace Head remote maritime station.
Journal ArticleDOI

Atmospheric histories and global emissions of halons H-1211 (CBrClF2), H-1301 (CBrF3), and H-2402 (CBrF2CBrF2)

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report ground-based atmospheric measurements and emission estimates for the halons H-1211 (CBrClF₂), H-1301(CBrF), and H-2402 (HBrF) from the AGAGE (Advanced Global Atmospheric Gases Experiment) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration global networks.
Journal Article

Hepatitis C virus variants and the role of genotyping

TL;DR: Little information exists about the role of virus sequence variation in screening for hepatitis C virus antibodies, but there is some evidence that the reactivity of current serological screening assays for hepatitisC virus is genotype dependent.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recombination and evolutionary dynamics of human echovirus 6.

TL;DR: The co‐circulation of different lineages of E6 in the same geographical area associated with its mainly endemic pattern of transmission may have contributed to the extremely short estimated half‐life of E 6 RFs, which contrasts markedly with other species B EVs and EV71 where VP1 lineage expansion and extinction occurred in step with defined recombination events and periodic changes in incidence.
