Multi-scale network imaging in a mouse model of amyloidosis.
Nazanin Doostdar,Joseph Airey,Carola I. Radulescu,Leire Melgosa-Ecenarro,Nawal Zabouri,Pavlina Pavlidi,Maksym V. Kopanitsa,Takashi Saito,Takaomi C. Saido,Samuel J. Barnes +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of approaches that use calcium imaging to measure network reorganisation across multiple spatial scales in vivo is described, including mesoscopic sensory maps, functional neuronal assemblies and synaptic ensembles.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
The Optical system for the Large Size Telescope of the Cherenkov Telescope Array
M. Hayashida,Koji Noda,Masahiro Teshima,U. Barres de Almeida,M. Chikawa,N. Cho,Satoshi Fukami,A. Gadola,Y. Hanabata,Dieter Horns,C. Jablonski,Hideaki Katagiri,M. Kagaya,M. Ogino,Akira Okumura,Takashi Saito,R. Stadler,S. Steiner,U. Straumann,A. Vollhardt,H. Wetteskind,Tokonatsu Yamamoto,Tatsuo Yoshida +22 more
TL;DR: The Large Size Telescope (LST) of the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) is designed to achieve a threshold energy of 20GeV as discussed by the authors, which is composed of one parabolic primary mirror 23m in diameter and 28m focal length.
Journal ArticleDOI
Observed CN and HCN intensity ratios exhibit subtle variations in extreme galaxy environments
B. Ledger,Christine D. Wilson,Tomonari Michiyama,Daisuke Iono,Daisuke Iono,Susanne Aalto,Takashi Saito,A. Bemis,Rebeca Aladro +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used both new and archival ALMA data of three energy lines each of CN and HCN to explore intensity ratios in dense gas in NGC 3256, NGC 7469, and IRAS 13120-5453.
Journal Article
An aneurysm at the cannulation site discovered 40 years after cardiac surgery: report of a case.
TL;DR: A computed tomography scan is a useful means to detect a mass on the ascending aorta following cardiac surgery, and it provides important information to help define a surgical strategy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Determination of Elemental Ratio in an Atomic Column by Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy.
Mitsutaka Haruta,Yoshiteru Hosaka,Noriya Ichikawa,Takashi Saito,Yuichi Shimakawa,Hiroki Kurata +5 more
TL;DR: Atomic-resolution quantification of the elemental ratio of Fe to Mn at the octahedral and tetrahedral sites in brownmillerite Ca2Fe1.07Mn0.93O5 was determined using electron energy-loss spectroscopy combined with aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy, revealing that oversampling of the spectral imaging data yielded a spatially resolved area that very nearly reflects atomic resolution.
