Yasushi Osaki,Yasushi Osaki,Yoav Ben-Shlomo,Andrew J. Lees,Susan E. Daniel,Carlo Colosimo,Gregor K. Wenning,Niall Quinn +7 more
TL;DR: This paper assessed the accuracy of clinical diagnosis of progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP, Steele-Richardson-Olszewski disease) and the validity of existing sets of clinical diagnostic criteria for PSP (see Appendix) using neuropathologically examined cases from the Queen Square Brain Bank for Neurological Disorders.

TL;DR: The results in combination with data reported in the literature suggest that G6PC2, a glucose-6-phosphatase almost exclusively expressed in pancreatic islet cells, may underlie variation in fasting glucose, though it is possible that ABCB11, which is expressed primarily in liver, may also contribute to such variation.

Systematic Review: Accuracy of Anti–Citrullinated Peptide Antibodies for Diagnosing Rheumatoid Arthritis
Penny Whiting,Nynke Smidt,Jonathan A C Sterne,Roger M. Harbord,Anya J. Burton,Margaret Burke,R Beynon,Yoav Ben-Shlomo,John S. Axford,Paul Dieppe +9 more
TL;DR: Anti-CCP2 should be included in the work-up of patients with early symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, and evidence was insufficient to ascertain whether the combination of anti- CCP2 and r heumatoid factor provides additional benefit over anti-CCp2 alone.
