Abstract: Combating corruption is a priority state task and more important is the direction of activity of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, which is given a leading place in the implementation of anti-corruption policy and ensuring its strict compliance and implementation. The paper reveals the content of the powers of the prosecutor's office in combating corruption (using the example of the Prosecutor's office of the Murmansk region). Timely detection and prevention of corruption offenses, elimination of their causes and conditions is the most important task of the supervisory authority.

TL;DR: Results revealed that SPECT neuroimaging may be useful for the precise diagnosis, treatment strategy, and prognosis in patients with brain lesion-associated refractory epilepsy.
Abstract: About 30% of patients with epilepsy have different brain lesions Development of refractory seizures during the course of the disease requires CT or MRI neuroimaging to detect progression, hemorrhage or tumor recurrence Although SPECT with different radioligands is not routinely used, numerous studies report its role in the diagnosis of neoplastic and non-neoplastic brain lesions The aim of this study was to evaluate Tc-99m HMPAO and Tc-99m MIBI uptake in brain lesions associated with intractable seizures The clinical population included fourteen patients (eight males and six females, mean age 54±106) with refractory epilepsy Brain SPECT was carried out 20 and 120 minutes after intravenous administration of 740 MBq (20 mCi) Tc-99m HMPAO or Tc-99m MIBI Refractory simple partial and secondary generalized seizures were observed respectively, in five and nine individuals EEG showed focus of epileptic activity in all patients Brain lesions visualized on CT/MRI scans included twelve neoplasms, one arachnoid cyst and one brain abscess Tc-99m HMPAO SPECT demonstrated region of hypoperfusion in nine patients with gliomas and one with brain abscess Two cases with high-grade gliomas had an increased Tc-99m MIBI uptake No radioisotope accumulation was seen postoperatively in a low-grade glioma and also in one benign cystic lesion Although the mechanisms of epileptogenesis have remained unclear yet, our own results revealed that SPECT neuroimaging may be useful for the precise diagnosis, treatment strategy, and prognosis in patients with brain lesion-associated refractory epilepsy Scripta Scientifica Medica 2007;39(1):67-70

TL;DR: The children with prematurely extracted temporary teeth and severe orthodontic deformation have the highest OHI-S, demonstrating the connection between OHI, the orthodrontic deformations and the prevention need.
Abstract: In spite of all the methods of prevention, there still are untreated or improperly treated caries and it’s followed by complications This often leads to premature loss of teeth The premature loss of the deciduous teeth depends on different factors such as oral hygiene, traumas, complicated caries The aim of this study is to compare the OHI-S between children with premature loss and those without premature loss of deciduous teeth Subject of the monitoring of the clinical research were 140 children between ages 6 and 9 The clinical group consisted of 90 children with prematurely extracted teeth, divided into three groups The control group consisted of 50 children with intact denture The oral hygiene status was examined and registered by the Greene-Vermillion index-simplified There was a statistically significant difference in the OHI-S between the control group (186±005) and the clinical groups (190±008 and 201±005) The children with premature extraction of the primary teeth had higher OHI-S compared to the control group (children without premature extraction of teeth) The third group of children, with prematurely extracted temporary teeth and severe orthodontic deformation, have the highest OHI-S These results demonstrate the connection between OHI, the orthodontic deformations and the need for prevention

TL;DR: Hemocoagulation changes were observed even < 6 h after the onset of the disease, suggesting that PAF has an early tendency for hypercoagulability, with the involvement of the intrinsic and extrinsic pathways of coagulation.
Abstract: Background: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a hypercoagulable state. However, the intimate mechanisms leading to impaired coagulation and the timing of their activation are unclear. The aim of the study was to investigate the factors that initiate the coagulation cascade in the early hours (up to 48 h) of clinical manifestation of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF). Methods: Tissue factor (TF) level, coagulation activity of factor VII (FVIIa), factor XII (FXIIa) and factor XI (FXIa) were measured in plasma of 51 non-anticoagulated patients (26 men and 25 women, aged 59.84 ± 11.42 years) and 52 controls (26 men and 26 women, aged 59.50 ± 10.53 years) by enzyme-linked immunoassays and kinetic assays. Results: TF was higher in the PAF group (268.63 ± 90.62 pg/mL vs. 170.21 ± 66.19 pg/mL, P < 0.001) as well as FVIIa (170.82±59.39% vs. 95.17±37.90%, P < 0.001), FXIIa (218.31±84.04% vs. 148.41±53.94%, P < 0.001) and FXIa (178.41±55.94% vs. 111.75±37.33%, P < 0.001). Regression analysis showed that in the first 6 h of the disease, increase in time led to increase in FXIIa (r = 0.25, P < 0.05), FXIa (r = 0.75, P < 0.05), TF level (r = 0.25, P < 0.05) and FVIIa (r = 0.25, P < 0.05). Conclusion: Hemocoagulation changes were observed even < 6 h after the onset of the disease. They suggest that PAF has an early tendency for hypercoagulability, with the involvement of the intrinsic and extrinsic pathways of coagulation.
