Abstract: Se analiza en el presente articulo la influencia ejercida por el filosofo frances Helvetius en la formulacion del pensamiento penal de Cesare Beccaria, confirmando de esta manera la lectura que el autor italiano realizo de uno de los principales ilustrados radicales franceses de la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII, y su impacto en la obra inaugural del derecho penal liberal moderno. Asi, ideas como el utilitarismo, el empirismo, el interes por el placer y la aversion al dolor, la naturaleza humana, el dano social derivado del delito y la prevencion general, entre otras, fueron tomadas del libro De l’esprit de Helvetius para nutrir en buena medida la ideologia beccariana.

Abstract: Introduction: The amount of publications related to muscular strength and functionality calls on for a deep analysis of the results achieved before their professional implementation. Objective: To carry out a systematic review to design physical activity programs focused on muscular strength and functional training in sedentary people aged between 19 and 79 years. Materials and methods: The PRISMA, Chocrane and the University of York parameters were used for designing and conducting the systematic reviews. In addition, from strict specificity and quality criteria, 14 analysis categories were identified, from which general programming guidelines informed in this study arose. Results: 49 studies with evidence level 1+ (24%), 1- (33%), 2 ++ (4%), 2+ (29%) and 2- (10%) met the established selection criteria and allowed feeding the 14 proposed categories to make a summary of the contents. Conclusion: Increasing the effects of physical activity programs on muscular strength and functionality is possible if some basic programming variables (category) are identified and considered based on high-quality scientific evidence.

Abstract: This article describes the health status of children aged 1 to 4 years in Colombia and the presence of disparities, using Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) as tracers. In second place it explains the social determinants of ARI and discusses the connection between social determinants of health, legal regulations on the Right to Health and the degree of fulfillment of this right. Finally, it analyzes the role of social policy in the realization of children's rights and the existing contradiction between regulatory framework and the effective guarantee of their rights, which often generates only from the use of judicial machinery like the Tutela, thereby subverting the constitutional order and invalidating its principles and values.

Abstract: This article reports on a study by psychologists at the Manuela Beltran University in Bogota about changes in executive functions in polydrug of psychoactive substances (SPA). The technique used was the application of neuropsychological tests to two groups of individuals – polydrug and controls-, to contrast the performance on tasks of executive functioning; the results show the relationship between long term use of different psychoactive substances and low performance in executive functions, relationship that regarding treatment for these patients, involves the need to include neuropsychological rehabilitation in order to reduce executives deficits produced by the consume.
