Abstract: This paper presents the results obtained from the process of research aimed turned to generate a strategy guide from neuro psycho pedagogy model in speech therapy intervention processes in relation to written language difficulties at school age. The research was carried out in two private schools in the city of Bogota. The group participants were in the age range of 6-14 years, corresponding to the first grades of elementary school to the eighth grade, for the study was not necessary to distinguish gender among participants. This process took place between February 2011 and February 2012 in two phases. The first was conducted from a systematic observation and characterization of language and communication skills of the population in question, and the second phase focused on the design of strategies to optimize learning and thus obtain better academic performance. As a result of the research exercise, consolidated a number of activities that can be used by professionals working in education.Keywords: writing, reading, comprehension, strategies, neuropsychology.

Abstract: Nanostructured materials have emerged as an alternative to enhance the figure of merit (ZT) of thermoelectric (TE) devices. Graphene exhibits a high electrical conductivity (in-plane) that is necessary for a high ZT; however, this effect is countered by its impressive thermal conductivity. In this work TE layered devices composed of electrochemically exfoliated graphene (EEG) and a phonon blocking material such as poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS), polyaniline (PANI) and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) at the interface were prepared. The figure of merit, ZT, of each device was measured in the cross-plane direction using the Transient Harman Method (THM) and complemented with AFM-based measurements. The results show remarkable high ZT values (0.81 < ZT < 2.45) that are directly related with the topography, surface potential, capacitance gradient and resistance of the devices at the nanoscale.

Abstract: El sedentarismo es una realidad social dada por el ritmo de vida actual, un problema que genera la aparicion de riesgos cardiovasculares y la posibilidad de sufrir una enfermedad grave. El objetivo de este estudio fue conocer la efectividad de un programa de ejercicio fisico para mejorar la fuerza muscular en personas sedentarias. Se realizo un estudio cuasiexperimental, en el cual se aplico un programa de ejercicios 5 dias a la semana por 4 semanas a un grupo de 60 individuos sedentarios. Se hizo pretest y postest de fuerza muscular, flexibilidad y composicion corporal. Al finalizar el estudio se encontro mejoria en los parametros evaluados.
