TL;DR: Li et al. as mentioned in this paper developed a high-energy efficient method for the synthesis of LiFePO 4 @CNT core-shell nanowire structures, which consists of two steps: liquid deposition approach to prepare FePO 4, CNT core and solvothermal lithiation.

TL;DR: In this article, a series of Ni-based layered double hydroxide (LDH) electrocatalyst models are constructed, and their OER performance is systematically screened via density functional theory (DFT) calculations.
Abstract: The development of high-activity and earth-abundant non-noble metal electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is highly desirable but is an ongoing challenge facing us now. In this work, a series of Ni-based layered double hydroxide (LDH) electrocatalyst models are constructed, and their OER performance is systematically screened via density functional theory (DFT) calculations. We discover that the exposed O sites on the pristine NiOOH substrate are more catalytically active than the Ni sites and play a vital role in the OER process. Moreover, introducing a second transition-metal heteroatom dopant is an effective strategy to boost the OER catalytic activity of the NiOOH matrix. Specifically, Ni@NiFe-2 exhibits an extraordinary OER performance with an overpotential of 0.21 V and can compete with or even outperform the current best catalysts such as RuO2 and IrO2. Our theoretical findings pave a new way for exploring high-efficiency OER catalysts and also shed light on NiFe-based LDHs as advanced candidates.

TL;DR: It is revealed that the revenue sharing contract cannot coordinate the decentralised three-echelon supply chain with the leader–follower game except for a special situation, but this result provides an opportunity to develop methodology and results that measure the potential improvement in supply chain performance that can be gained from utilising the Revenue sharing contract.
Abstract: This paper focuses on a three-echelon supply chain composed of a manufacturer, a distributor and a retailer for a single selling period. Based on a revenue sharing contract, the coordination of the decentralised supply chain with the simultaneous move game or the leader–follower game is analysed. It is determined that the revenue sharing contract can coordinate the decentralised supply chain with the simultaneous move game. Our analysis reveals that the revenue sharing contract cannot coordinate the decentralised three-echelon supply chain with the leader–follower game except for a special situation. However, this result provides an opportunity to develop methodology and results that measure the potential improvement in supply chain performance that can be gained from utilising the revenue sharing contract. This is an important aspect of this paper.

TL;DR: In this article, the wear behavior of bulk Zr41Ti14Cu12.5Ni10Be22.5 metallic glasses has been studied using sliding wear tests and scanning electron microscopy in both as-prepared and annealed samples.
Abstract: The wear behavior of bulk Zr41Ti14Cu12.5Ni10Be22.5 metallic glasses has been studiedusing sliding wear tests and scanning electron microscopy in both as-prepared and annealed samples. It was found that the wear resistance of differently processed samples increases in the following order: crystallized state; as-prepared state; relaxed state. The thermal stability of worn samples was also investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry. Under the experiment conditions, no sliding wear-induced crystallization is observed in either as-prepared or relaxed samples indicating good thermal stability of the bulk metallic glasses.
