Home based telemedicine intervention for patients with uncontrolled hypertension: - a real life - non-randomized study

TL;DR: The addition of a structured physician-nurse approach supported by remote telemonitoring of blood pressure is likely to improve outcome in patients with uncontrolled hypertension.

Diverse effects of interdialytic intervals on central wave augmentation in haemodialysis patients

TL;DR: This interdialytic increase in central wave augmentation is more pronounced during the 3-day interval, suggesting a mechanism possibly involved in the elevated cardiovascular risk of HD patients at this time point.

Blood Pressure Variability in Elderly Persons With White-Coat and Masked Hypertension Compared to Those With Normotension and Sustained Hypertension

TL;DR: In elderly individuals, the short-term variability of BP is similar in masked and sustained hypertension and higher than in normotension and white-coat hypertension, suggesting the hypothesis that BPV among persons with masked hypertension may contribute to the elevated cardiovascular risk observed in this BP pattern.
