Allogeneic mesenchymal stem cell transplantation in severe and refractory systemic lupus erythematosus: 4 years of experience.

TLDR
Allogeneic MSCT resulted in the induction of clinical remission and improvement in organ dysfunction in drug-resistant SLE patients, and disease activity declined as revealed by significant changes in the SLEDAI score, levels of serum autoantibodies, albumin, and complements.

Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis With Allogeneic Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cells: A Randomized Controlled Trial.

TL;DR: Allogeneic MSC therapy may be a valid alternative for the treatment of chronic knee osteoarthritis that is more logistically convenient than autologous MSC treatment and significantly improves cartilage quality.

Immunomodulatory properties of mesenchymal stromal cells.

TL;DR: The aim of this review is to critically discuss the immunogenicity and immunomodulatory properties of MSCs, both in vitro and in vivo, the possible underlying mechanisms, the potential clinical use of M SCs as modulators of immune responses in vivo and to indicate clinical safety concerns and recommendations for future research.
