Journal ArticleDOI

Systematics and biogeography of sciophilous cyanobacteria; an ecological and molecular description of Albertania skiophila (Leptolyngbyaceae) gen. & sp. nov.

TL;DR: The creation of the new genus Albertania is justified since Albertania skiophila strains are endemic to a specific habitat and distinct geographical region, leading to a defined biogeographical distribution in hypogea and caves around the Mediterranean region.
Journal ArticleDOI

Isolations of α-glucosidase-producing thermophilic bacilli from hot springs of Turkey

TL;DR: Five new thermostable α-1,4-glucosidase-producing bacilli that have biotechnological potential with α-glUCosidases located at different cell positions were obtained in this study.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bacterial diversity in the indoor air of pharmaceutical environment.

TL;DR: To monitor bacterial diversity of ISO Class 8 pharmaceutical clean room environment using conventional culture‐based methods and pyrosequencing analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Complete Genome Sequence of Acidaminococcus intestini RYC-MR95, a Gram-Negative Bacterium from the Phylum Firmicutes

TL;DR: The complete genome of a clinical A. intestini strain is presented and shows the double-membrane system of Gram-negative bacteria, although their chromosomal backbone is closely related to that of gram-positive bacteria of the phylum Firmicutes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improvement of some growth and yield parameters of faba bean (Vicia faba) by inoculation with Rhizobium laguerreae and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi

TL;DR: Plants receiving single inoculation with Rhizobium laguerreae showed a significant increase in number of leaves, leaf area, leaf mass per area and leaf area ratio, as well as in all yield parameters, while co-inoculation was not significantly different from the individual inoculations.
