TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a global warning system with the support of COST Action Global Warning (FP1401), which was supported by COST action global warning (FP 1401), DLM and YB contribution was also supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research (FBR), and MG contribution was supported with core financial support from its member countries.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metabolic property of acetaldehyde production from ethanol and glucose by oral Streptococcus and Neisseria
TL;DR: Oral indigenous bacteria, Streptococcus and Neisseria can produce acetaldehyde, and that such acetaldehyde production is affected by environmental conditions, and it was suggested that alcohol dehydrogenase and NADH oxidase are involved in ethanol-derived acetaldehydeProduction and that the branched-pathway from pyruvate is involved in glucose-derivedacetaldehyde production.
Production and Optimization of Haloalkaliphilic Protease by an Extremophile -Halobacterium SP Js1, Isolated from Thalassohaline Environment
TL;DR: Media and cultivation conditions were investigated to optimize bacterial growth and protease production which includes different Carbon and nitrogen sources, metal ions, in addition to different factors such as the incubation time, pH, temperature, NaCl concentrations and agitation levels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Biological Activities of Lactose-Derived Prebiotics and Symbiotic with Probiotics on Gastrointestinal System
Arijit Nath,Arijit Nath,Gokce Haktanirlar,Áron Varga,Máté András Molnár,Krisztina Albert,Ildikó Galambos,András Koris,Gyula Vatai +8 more
TL;DR: The probable biochemical mechanisms through which lactose-derived prebiotics offer positive gastrointestinal health are reported along with the up-to-date results of clinical investigations, in what might be the first review article of its kind.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of probiotic-loaded microcapsules for local delivery: Physical properties, cell release and growth.
TL;DR: A microcapsule‐based system for delivery of probiotic bacteria, as vegetative cells or spores, which promotes their prolonged survival and efficient revival, and successful colonisation of the target surface is proposed for local delivery into periodontal pockets.
