Prediction of hourly solar radiation using a novel hybrid model of ARMA and TDNN

TL;DR: A novel hybrid model that combines both the ARMA and TDNN, is applied to produce better prediction of the hourly solar radiation series and shows that this hybrid model can take the advantages of both ARMAand TDNN and give excellent result.
Journal ArticleDOI

A model for the high‐temperature transport properties of heavily doped n‐type silicon‐germanium alloys

TL;DR: In this article, a model for the high-temperature transport properties of large-grain-size, heavily doped n-type silicon-germanium alloys is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

The electrical structure of the Hokuriku winter thunderstorms

TL;DR: In this paper, a strong correlation exists between the fraction of positive ground strokes and the vertical wind shear in the cloud layer, which helps to ensure that an initiating positive streamer will continue down to ground rather than into the negatively charged region that would normally be located directly below it.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fractionation of metals in street sediment samples by using the BCR sequential extraction procedure and multivariate statistical elucidation of the data

TL;DR: Correlation analysis and principal component analysis revealed that the sampling area was mainly influenced from three pollution sources, namely; traffic, industrial, and natural sources, and showed that chemical sequential extraction is a precious operational tool.

Measuring the Magnetic Field on the Classical T Tauri Star BP Tauri

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined several theories that describe how stellar magnetic fields on T T Tauri stars interact with their surrounding accretion disks, and demonstrated that these theories require magnetic field strengths ranging from a few hundred to several thousand gauss, depending on which model is used and more importantly on the properties of individual systems.
