TLDR
A model which incorporates the physics of dynamic Jahn-Teller and double-exchange effects is presented and solved via a dynamical mean field approximation to reproduce the behavior of the resistivity and magnetic transition temperature observed in Sr_x MnO_3.
Abstract
A model for the doped rare-earth manganites such as ${\mathrm{La}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{Sr}}_{x}{\mathrm{MnO}}_{3}$ incorporating the physics of dynamic Jahn-Teller and double-exchange effects is presented and solved via a dynamical mean field approximation. The interplay of these two effects as the electron phonon coupling is varied reproduces the observed behavior of the resistivity and magnetic transition temperature.

Magnetic phase diagram and transport properties of the mixed-valence manganites

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the magnetic phase diagram and transport properties of mixed-valence manganites using a Hamiltonian which includes a finite Hund's rule coupling strength and the dynamic Jahn-Teller effects.

Phase separation in inhomogeneous mixed-valence systems: Application to manganites

TL;DR: In this article, a simple alloy-analogy model with a charge interaction between nearest neighbor Mn ions is considered, and it is shown that the system is unstable to phase separation, i.e., to the coexistence of antiferromagnetic (AF) and charge ordered FM domains.

Interplay between structure and magnetic properties in a perovskite manganite

TL;DR: In this article, it was observed that the c -axis becomes shorter than the a -axis below Curie temperature T c, resulting in the enhancement of Q 2 -type Jahn-Teller (JT) distortion.

Study of elastic moduli and thermal properties of RMnO3 (R = La, Nd) compounds

TL;DR: In this paper, an effective interionic interaction potential (EIoIP) with the long-range Coulomb, van der Waals (vdW) interaction and short-range repulsive interaction up to second neighbor ions within the Hafemeister and Flygare approach was formulated to estimate the Debye and Einstein temperature and was found to be consistent with the available experimental data.
