Dynamic Jahn-Teller Effect and Colossal Magnetoresistance in La 1-x Sr x MnO 3
TLDR
A model which incorporates the physics of dynamic Jahn-Teller and double-exchange effects is presented and solved via a dynamical mean field approximation to reproduce the behavior of the resistivity and magnetic transition temperature observed in Sr_x MnO_3.Abstract:
A model for the doped rare-earth manganites such as ${\mathrm{La}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{Sr}}_{x}{\mathrm{MnO}}_{3}$ incorporating the physics of dynamic Jahn-Teller and double-exchange effects is presented and solved via a dynamical mean field approximation. The interplay of these two effects as the electron phonon coupling is varied reproduces the observed behavior of the resistivity and magnetic transition temperature.read more

Tuning the magnetic state in a phase-separated magnetic oxide thin film by means of electric field and temperature
TL;DR: In this paper, a hybrid system of a magnetic oxide thin film on a ferroelectric substrate was studied and it was shown that magnetic and transport properties of the magnetic oxide film strongly depend on the dielectric constant and polarization of the substrate.

Large positive magnetoresistance in photocarrier-doped potassium tantalites
TL;DR: In this paper, high-field magnetotransport of KTaO3 single crystals, which are a promising candidate for study in the extreme quantum limit, has been reported, with a significant positive, non-saturating and linear magnetoresistance at low temperatures accompanied by a decreasing Hall coefficient.

TRANSPORT PROPERTIES OF Ag-DOPED La0.7Ca0.3MnO3 THIN FILMS ON SILICON SUBSTRATE
TL;DR: In this article, the dependences of transport properties on annealing temperature were explored and it was shown that the resistivity of the samples decreases and the metal-insulator transition temperature shifts to higher temperature with the increase in annaling temperature, which can be explained by the Ag1+ substitution of La3+ to form La1-xAgxMnO3 compound.

Formation and temperature evolution of correlated polarons in colossal magnetoresistive manganites
TL;DR: The peak structure in the quasiadiabatic regime provides an explanation for the temperature dependence of the polaron correlation in nanoscale charge ordered polaron clusters observed in the manganites with intermediate to narrow bandwidths.
