TLDR
A model which incorporates the physics of dynamic Jahn-Teller and double-exchange effects is presented and solved via a dynamical mean field approximation to reproduce the behavior of the resistivity and magnetic transition temperature observed in Sr_x MnO_3.
Abstract
A model for the doped rare-earth manganites such as ${\mathrm{La}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{Sr}}_{x}{\mathrm{MnO}}_{3}$ incorporating the physics of dynamic Jahn-Teller and double-exchange effects is presented and solved via a dynamical mean field approximation. The interplay of these two effects as the electron phonon coupling is varied reproduces the observed behavior of the resistivity and magnetic transition temperature.

Hierarchically Engineered Manganite Thin Films with a Wide-Temperature-Range Colossal Magnetoresistance Response.

TL;DR: In this paper , a hierarchical La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 thin film with well-defined (001) and (221) crystallographic orientations was realized by combining substrate modification with conventional thin-film deposition.

Magnetic Circular Dichroism spectroscopy in epitaxial La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 thin films

TL;DR: In this paper, the polarization of a conduction band as a function of temperature has been investigated in 50nm LSMO (x=0.3) strained thin films grown epitaxially on single crystalline (001) LaAlO3 (LAO) and lattice matched substrate (LSAT), and the MCD spectra of both the films show a peak at the band gap at around 3 eV and the peak is found to shift towards lower energy side with the increase of temperature.

Changes of the local distortions and colossal magnetoresistive properties of La0.7Ca0.3MnO3 induced by Ti or Ga deffects

TL;DR: The magnetoresistive properties of La 0.7 Ca 0.3 MnO 3 change rapidly when Ti or Ga is substituted on the Mn site for concentrations, x, from 1 to 10% as mentioned in this paper.

Mean-field approach for the B phase of (La,Ca)MnO3

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple cubic lattice of mixed valent Mn ions (Mn4+ and Mn3+) is considered and the ground state energy for the ferromagnetic B phase using a slave-boson mean-field approach.
