The outcomes of CAD surgical treatment were improved in this group of patients due to the implementation of a mul-assisted revascularization of coronary and non-coronary arteries.Abstract:
Results. The incidence rate of significant non-cardiac occlusive stenotic lesions in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD), who had to undergo CABG, was 15,84 %. Simultaneous revascularization of coronary and non-coronary arteries was performed in 2,46 % of patients with CAD and PolyVD and multi-stage surgical proced ures were chosen in other cases. Conclusions. The outcomes of CAD surgical treatment were improved in this group of patients due to the implementation of a mul-read more

Relevance of DNA methylation in the management of cancer.
TL;DR: Four types of translational studies that can be used to investigate the aberrant pattern of DNA methylation in cancer and whether dormant tumour suppressor genes can be reactivated by DNA demethylating drugs, with the aim of reversing the neoplastic phenotype are proposed.

TL;DR: The results of this study provide specific behavioral and autonomic evidence of anxiolytic-like effects for oxytocin in males and suggest the potential utility of OTR agonism as a therapeutically relevant mechanism of action for novel anxIOlytics in both sexes.

The effects of psychological stress on plasma interleukin-6 activity in rats.
TL;DR: It is concluded that exposure to psychological stress can elevate the plasma concentration of IL-6, a known mediator of the acute phase response, and the plasma levels following exposure to an open-field are not high enough to account for the rise in body temperature observed in rats during this stress.

Central vasopressin and oxytocin release: regulation of complex social behaviours
Alexa H. Veenema,Inga D. Neumann +1 more
TL;DR: OXT released within the PVN during sexual activity in male rats was found to be associated with a robust decrease in anxiety-related behaviour up to 4h after mating, illustrating distinct modes of behavioural actions of AVP and OXT, reaching from acute regulation of the respective social behaviour to the long-term modulation of related behaviours including anxiety and social cognition.
