The outcomes of CAD surgical treatment were improved in this group of patients due to the implementation of a mul-assisted revascularization of coronary and non-coronary arteries.
Abstract
Results. The incidence rate of significant non-cardiac occlusive stenotic lesions in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD), who had to undergo CABG, was 15,84 %. Simultaneous revascularization of coronary and non-coronary arteries was performed in 2,46 % of patients with CAD and PolyVD and multi-stage surgical proced ures were chosen in other cases. Conclusions. The outcomes of CAD surgical treatment were improved in this group of patients due to the implementation of a mul-

Mitral valve replacement with and without chordal preservation in a rheumatic population: serial echocardiographic assessment of left ventricular size and function.

TL;DR: It is concluded that total chordal preservation is possible in the large majority of rheumatic patients and confers significant long-term advantage by preserving left ventricular function.

Elevated plus-maze behavior in adult offspring of selectively bred rats

TL;DR: The present study represents a probe into the processes at work during the early stages of selection for infant USV, and suggests that an adult measure of anxiety may be affected by selection for this infantile behavior.

Low-dose fludarabine and cyclophosphamide in elderly patients with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia refractory to conventional therapy.

TL;DR: The association of low-dose fludarabine and cyclophosphamide appeared to be effective in this subset of B-CLL patients, reproducing a similar overall response rate obtained with other fludARabine-based combination therapies.

Polymorphisms in nonhomologous end-joining genes associated with breast cancer risk and chromosomal radiosensitivity.

TL;DR: Preliminary evidence is provided that the variant allele of c.2099‐2408G>A SNP (XRCC6) is risk alleles for breast cancer as well as CRS, and the HV genotype, on the contrary, seems to protect against breast cancer and ionizing radiation induced micronuclei.
