The outcomes of CAD surgical treatment were improved in this group of patients due to the implementation of a mul-assisted revascularization of coronary and non-coronary arteries.
Abstract
Results. The incidence rate of significant non-cardiac occlusive stenotic lesions in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD), who had to undergo CABG, was 15,84 %. Simultaneous revascularization of coronary and non-coronary arteries was performed in 2,46 % of patients with CAD and PolyVD and multi-stage surgical proced ures were chosen in other cases. Conclusions. The outcomes of CAD surgical treatment were improved in this group of patients due to the implementation of a mul-

Fractal dimension as working tool for surface-roughness problems

TL;DR: In this article, the Fourier analysis (Fourier series or power spectra) of surface profiles is used to measure fractal dimension and to identify, purely on roughness grounds, kaolinite and feldspar.

The mouse that roared : neural mechanisms of social hierarchy

TL;DR: This review summarizes current knowledge on the neural circuits that control social status and discusses how the neural mechanisms for various types of dominance behavior can be studied in laboratory rodents by selective manipulation of neuronal activity or synaptic plasticity.

Negative Selection during the Peripheral Immune Response to Antigen

TL;DR: Evidence is provided for an avidity-based model of peripheral T cell clonal expansion in response to antigenic challenge that provides a peripheral control against the expansion of autoreactive T cells and has implications for immunotherapy and vaccine design.

Modulation of estrogen receptor mRNA expression by melatonin in MCF-7 human breast cancer cells.

TL;DR: The antiproliferative actions of this pineal indoleamine are mediated, at least in part, through the suppression of the transcription of the ER gene in MCF-7 human breast cancer cells.
