The outcomes of CAD surgical treatment were improved in this group of patients due to the implementation of a mul-assisted revascularization of coronary and non-coronary arteries.
Abstract
Results. The incidence rate of significant non-cardiac occlusive stenotic lesions in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD), who had to undergo CABG, was 15,84 %. Simultaneous revascularization of coronary and non-coronary arteries was performed in 2,46 % of patients with CAD and PolyVD and multi-stage surgical proced ures were chosen in other cases. Conclusions. The outcomes of CAD surgical treatment were improved in this group of patients due to the implementation of a mul-

The Isoforms of the p53 Protein

TL;DR: It is established that the p53 isoforms can regulate cell-fate outcome in response to stress, by modulating p53 transcriptional activity in a promoter and stress-dependent manner and it is determined that the dual gene structure is conserved in Drosophila and in zebrafish p53 genes.

CD4+ CD25+ regulatory T cells control the induction of antigen-specific CD4+ helper T cell responses in cancer patients.

TL;DR: It is proposed that CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells are involved in the generation and regulation of NY-ESO-1-specific antitumor immunity.

Comorbid conditions and survival in unselected, newly diagnosed patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia

TL;DR: Comorbid conditions are less important than age and stage in predicting prognosis in newly diagnosed patients with CLL, and clinical trials evaluating treatments that are designed to be tolerated by patients who do not meet traditional clinical trial eligibility criteria are needed.

NAD⁺ metabolism: a therapeutic target for age-related metabolic disease.

TL;DR: The current state of knowledge of NAD+ metabolism is discussed, primarily in relation to sirtuin function, to highlight how NAD+ levels change in diverse physiological conditions, and how this can be employed as a pharmacological strategy.

Predictive Value of Antibodies to Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide in Patients with Very Early Inflammatory Arthritis

TL;DR: In patients with synovitis of 3 months' duration, a combination of anti-CCP antibodies and RF has a high specificity and PPV for the development of persistent RA, which can be used to identify patients with disease destined to develop RA who may be appropriate for very early intervention.
