The outcomes of CAD surgical treatment were improved in this group of patients due to the implementation of a mul-assisted revascularization of coronary and non-coronary arteries.
Abstract
Results. The incidence rate of significant non-cardiac occlusive stenotic lesions in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD), who had to undergo CABG, was 15,84 %. Simultaneous revascularization of coronary and non-coronary arteries was performed in 2,46 % of patients with CAD and PolyVD and multi-stage surgical proced ures were chosen in other cases. Hemopoietic reserve in the older cancer patient: clinical and economic considerations.

TL;DR: It is recommended that patients aged 70 and older receiving combination chemotherapy of dose-intensity comparable to CHOP be routinely treated with myelopoietic growth factor, to prevent costly complications such as neutropenic infections and functional dependence.

Structure of glutathione reductase from Escherichia coli at 1.86 A resolution: comparison with the enzyme from human erythrocytes.

TL;DR: The crystal structure of the dimeric flavoenzyme glutathione reductase from Escherichia coli was determined and refined and indicates why the E. coli enzyme accepts trypanothione much better than the human enzyme.

Reduction of p53 gene expression in human primary hepatocellular carcinoma is associated with promoter region methylation without coding region mutation.

TL;DR: Paired samples of human primary liver carcinoma and uninvolved tissue obtained from the same individual were evaluated for site-specific p53 promoter methylation status and also for coding region mutations using polymerase chain reaction (PCR)- single strand conformation polymorphism (SSCP).

Preservation of the mitral valve apparatus: evidence synthesis and critical reappraisal of surgical techniques

TL;DR: The results of this review strongly suggest that MVR-P is superior to M VR-NP with regards to the incidence of early postoperative low-cardiac output requiring inotropic support, and early or mid-term survival.
