The outcomes of CAD surgical treatment were improved in this group of patients due to the implementation of a mul-assisted revascularization of coronary and non-coronary arteries.
Abstract
Results. The incidence rate of significant non-cardiac occlusive stenotic lesions in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD), who had to undergo CABG, was 15,84 %. Simultaneous revascularization of coronary and non-coronary arteries was performed in 2,46 % of patients with CAD and PolyVD and multi-stage surgical proced ures were chosen in other cases. Conclusions. The outcomes of CAD surgical treatment were improved in this group of patients due to the implementation of a mul-

Association and linkage of leprosy phenotypes with HLA class II and tumour necrosis factor genes

TL;DR: The segregation and HLA analyses suggest the possibility of more than one susceptibility locus in the MHC, including major gene control of susceptibility to leprosy per se and the HLA class II region.
Journal ArticleDOI

The mini-driver model of polygenic cancer evolution.

TL;DR: The main importance of the mini-driver model lies in helping to provide a complete understanding of tumorigenesis, especially as the authors anticipate that an increasing number of mini- driver mutations will be found by cancer genome sequencing.

CCR5 and HIV infection.

TL;DR: Modified chemokines, monoclonal antibodies and small chemical antagonists, as well as a number of gene therapy approaches have been developed in this frame, some of which lead to nonfunctional receptors or otherwise influence AIDS progression.

Autism, fever, epigenetics and the locus coeruleus.

TL;DR: It is hypothesized that febrigenesis and the behavioral-state changes associated with fever in autism depend upon selective normalization of key components of a functionally impaired locus coeruleus-noradrenergic (LC-NA) system.
