Coherent control of the multiple wavelength lasing of ${\rm N}_2^ +$: coherence transfer and beyond

TL;DR: In this paper, a pair of seeding pulses at two different frequencies at low pressures were used to demonstrate the coherent control of air lasing via vibrational motion, revealing a coherence transfer through vibration motion.

Dipolar-like antenna emission in the radiofrequency range by laser-produced plasma channels in air

TL;DR: In this article, a dipolar-like antenna emission in the radiofrequency range from a terawatt laser-produced plasma channel in air is shown to exhibit resonances as a function of the plasma length.

Laser filamentation in air via Mathieu modulation: ranging from trajectory-predesigned curved filament to quasi-soliton and ring light bullet.

TL;DR: Results indicate curved filaments, in-phase and out-of-phase quasi-solitons and nonlinear light bullets can be formed successfully in air through calculated initial Mathieu accelerating beam (MAB).

Longitudinally resolved measurement of plasma density along femtosecond laser filament via terahertz spectroscopy

TL;DR: In this article, a longitudinally resolved measurement of plasma density along femtosecond laser filament in air via terahertz (THz) spectroscopy has been demonstrated by applying a needlelike highvoltage direct current (DC) electric field on the laser filament and scanning it along filament, the longitudinal evolution of amplified THz emission is demonstrated.

Extension of filament propagation in water with Bessel-Gaussian beams

TL;DR: In this article, the femtosecond pulse filamentation and propagation in water for Bessel-Gaussian beams with different numbers of radial modal lobes were studied and it was found that filament propagation length increased with increasing number of lobes under the conditions of the same peak intensity, pulse duration, and the size of the central peak of the incident beam.

Plasma perspective on strong field multiphoton ionization.

TL;DR: During strong-field multiphoton ionization, a wave packet is formed each time the laser field passes its maximum value, and one important parameter which determines the strength of these effects is the rate at which the wave packet spreads in the direction perpendicular to the laser electric field.
