Study on Nonlinear Calculation Method of Load Transfer along Pile Shaft
Wei He,Minghua Zhao,Xinjun Zou +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the load transfer curves can be well fitted with hyperbola, so nonlinear analysis on behavior of load transferring along pile shafts is necessary, therefore, the primary influential factors and calculation methods of side resistant were first discussed in this paper, then, the differential equation was established based upon the Hyperbola model by load transfer method.
Journal ArticleDOI
Group Reduction Factors for the Analysis of the Pile Groups Under Combination of Lateral Loads in Sandy Soils
TL;DR: In this paper, the p-y curve of a single pile in a pile group system is modified using a specific p-multiplier for each row of the piles to obtain group reduction factor (Pm).
Book ChapterDOI
Reduction of landslide risk in substituting road of Germi-Chay dam
TL;DR: In this article, the stability of the road slope is verified by performing a back analysis for the slip surfaces and an appropriate scheme is suggested for constructing the road embankment in order to attain permanent stability.
Effects of Adjacent Building Construction: A Case Study
Bahman Panjalizadeh Marseh,Bagher Heidarpour,Aziz Hosseinnezhad,Behnam Gilaniniay Soumehsaraei +3 more
TL;DR: In this article, the negative effects of adjacent building construction in a case have been studied and various solutions are offered to reduce its adverse effects, which can prevent capital loss and human casualties.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Analysis and Monitoring Comparison Study on the Deformation of Adjacent Building Caused by Deep Foundation Pit Support
Zhiqin Liu,Qin Liu +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors applied the numerical simulation analysis method to carry out the comparative simulation for the changing of adjacent buildings settlement deformation along with the foundation pit excavation depth and the comparison analysis with the actual monitoring data.
