The objective of this paper is to provide a basic framework for researchers interested in reporting the results of their PLS analyses. Since the dominant paradigm in reporting Structural Equation Modeling results is covariance based, this paper begins by providing a discussion of key differences and rationale that researchers can use to support their use of PLS. This is followed by two examples from the discipline of Information Systems. The first consists of constructs with reflective indicators (mode A). This is followed up with a model that includes a construct with formative indicators (mode B).read more

Management Accounting and Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM): Some Illustrative Examples
TL;DR: It is demonstrated how PLS-SEM can be useful in management accounting because such research is often conducted at an exploratory stage; the theoretical basis is often weak; archival data or formative measurements are highly relevant; and the predictive orientation of PLS -SEM offers the potential to answer practical questions.

Testing the structural relationships of tourism authenticities
Tonghao Zhang,Ping Yin +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the structural relationships of authenticities in the cultural heritage tourism context are examined, and the authors propose a relationship model for them, which is based on objective, constructive, existential, and postmodern types of authenticity.

Rural communities perceptions and attitudes towards environment tourism development.
TL;DR: In this paper, the impact of rural tourism development on the environment from the local communities' perspectives was assessed by using SmarPLS 2.0 (M3) based on path modelling and then bootstrapping with 200 re-samples was applied to generate the standard error of the estimate and t-values.

Diagnosing the impact of retail bank customers’ perceived justice on their service recovery satisfaction and post-purchase behaviours: an empirical study in financial centre of middle east
TL;DR: In this article, the authors assess the effects of perceived justice on recovery satisfaction and examine the relationships between recovery satisfaction with customer relationship variables in the banking sector where there are lack of empirical studies, and the results revealed that distributive justice, procedural justice and interactional justice had significant positive effects on service recovery satisfaction, while IJ has the strongest effect with respect to others.

Cross-Validatory Choice and Assessment of Statistical Predictions
TL;DR: In this article, a generalized form of the cross-validation criterion is applied to the choice and assessment of prediction using the data-analytic concept of a prescription, and examples used to illustrate the application are drawn from the problem areas of univariate estimation, linear regression and analysis of variance.

A Partial Least Squares Latent Variable Modeling Approach for Measuring Interaction Effects: Results from a Monte Carlo Simulation Study and an Electronic-Mail Emotion/Adoption Study
TL;DR: A new latent variable modeling approach is provided that can give more accurate estimates of interaction effects by accounting for the measurement error that attenuates the estimated relationships.
