Chapter 1 – MANY-BODY EFFECTS IN NONLINEAR SUSCEPTIBILITIES; BEYOND THE LOCAL-FIELD APPROXIMATION
Journal ArticleDOI
Electrical Phenomena of C60-Tetracyanoquinodimethane Thin Films
TL;DR: In this paper, the electrical properties of C60-tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) thin films fabricated by using an ionized-cluster-beam method in a high vacuum system were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Computational study of molecules for quadratic nonlinear optical applications: orthogonal orientation of dipole vector and hyperpolarisability pseudo vector
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that if the hyperpolarisability pseudo vector (defined using the projections of the tensor components) in these molecules is oriented orthogonal to their dipole vector, appreciable bulk NLO response can be generated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electric field induced second harmonic generation (EFISH) measurements on absorbing compounds: push–pull substituted anilines
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of various electron acceptors, which contain at least two cyano groups, on the generation of second harmonic light of donor-acceptor-substituted anilines was discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electric field induced second harmonic generation/third harmonic generation measurements on molecules with extended charge transfer: Absorption domain and strong resonance effects
TL;DR: An enlarged method of performing electric field induced second harmonic generation (EFISHG) or third harmonic generation measurements of molecular hyperpolarizabilities in the strongly resonant regime is proposed in this article.
