The effect of metal oxide additives on the activity of V2O5/TiO2 catalysts for the selective catalytic reduction of nitric oxide by ammonia

TL;DR: In this paper, a systematic investigation of the effect of various metal oxides additives on the reactivity of a 1-wt% V 2 O 5 /TiO 2 catalyst for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO by NH 3 has been carried out at 623 K. The analysis of the results suggests a strong correlation between the SCR activity and the amount of Bronsted acid sites on the catalyst surface.
