Enantiomeric separation of nonproteinogenic amino acids by high-performance liquid chromatography.

TL;DR: In this article, a special review of the literature on the separation of enantiomers of nonproteinogenic amino acids and related compounds is presented, with emphasis on the literature published from the beginning.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chromatographic techniques for the determination of alkyl-phenols, tocopherols and other minor polar compounds in raw and roasted cold pressed cashew nut oils.

TL;DR: In this paper, the alkyl phenols composition of cold pressed raw and roasted cashew nut oil was reported. And the results showed that cardanols, cardanol and 2-methylcardol compounds were the major alklphenols contained in both oils.
Journal ArticleDOI

Application of the Asymmetric Pictet–Spengler Reaction in the Total Synthesis of Natural Products and Relevant Biologically Active Compounds

TL;DR: This review aims to highlight the applications of the asymmetric variant of this old name reaction in the total synthesis of natural products, chiefly, alkaloids, which exhibit significant biological properties.
Journal ArticleDOI

Review: Natural products from Genus Selaginella (Selaginellaceae)

TL;DR: Biflavonoid, a dimeric form of flavonoids, is the most valuable natural products of Selaginella, which constituted at least 13 compounds, including trehalose that has long been known for protecting from desiccation and allows surviving severe environmental stress.
Journal ArticleDOI

Diet mixing enhances the performance of a generalist caterpillar, Platyprepia virginalis

TL;DR: Platyprepia virginalis caterpillars are dietary generalists and feed on multiple host species within a single day, and their performance on diets consisting of only their primary food, Lupinus arboreus, is evaluated.
