Shot noise in mesoscopic conductors
TLDR
Theoretical and experimental work concerned with dynamic fluctuations has developed into a very active and fascinating subfield of mesoscopic physics as discussed by the authors, which can be used to obtain information on a system which is not available through conductance measurements.About:

Detecting Current Noise with a Josephson Junction in the Macroscopic Quantum Tunneling Regime
TL;DR: In this article, the use of a hysteretic Josephson junction to detect current fluctuations with frequencies below the plasma frequency of the junction was discussed, and the adiabatic fluctuations were probed by switching measurements observing the noise-affected average rate of macroscopic quantum tunneling of the detector junction out of its zerovoltage state.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed the noise properties of two single electron transistors coupled via a shared voltage gate consisting of a nanomechanical resonator and found that the SETs act on the resonator like two independent heat baths.

Coulomb drag effect induced by the third cumulant of current
TL;DR: In this article, the Coulomb drag effect in mesoscopic electrical circuits was investigated and it was shown that it can be mediated by classical fluctuations of the circuit collective mode, and that not only the noise power but also the third cumulant of current may contribute to the drag current.

Transition from metallic to tunneling regimes in superconducting microconstrictions: Excess current, charge imbalance, and supercurrent conversion
TL;DR: In this paper, the Bogoliubov equations were used to model the transmission and reflection of particles at the tunnel junction of normal-superconducting micro-constriction contacts, and a simple theory for the $I\ensuremath{-}V$ curves of normal superconducting contacts was proposed to describe the crossover from metallic to tunnel junction behavior.
