Shot noise in mesoscopic conductors
TLDR
Theoretical and experimental work concerned with dynamic fluctuations has developed into a very active and fascinating subfield of mesoscopic physics as discussed by the authors, which can be used to obtain information on a system which is not available through conductance measurements.About:

Discontinuous Euler instability in nanoelectromechanical systems
Guillaume Weick,Guillaume Weick,Fabio Pistolesi,Fabio Pistolesi,Eros Mariani,Eros Mariani,Felix von Oppen +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate nanoelectromechanical systems near mechanical instabilities and find that the interaction between electronic and vibronic degrees of freedom qualitatively affects the mechanical instability, turning it into a discontinuous one.

Shot Noise for Resonant Cooper Pair Tunneling
TL;DR: In this paper, the intrinsic noise of current in a superconducting single-electron transistor was investigated, taking into account both coherence effects and Coulomb interaction near a Cooper pair resonance.

Formulation of Time-Resolved Counting Statistics Based on a Positive-Operator-Valued Measure
Adam Bednorz,Wolfgang Belzig +1 more
TL;DR: This work proposes a derivation of the full counting statistics of electronic current based on a positive-operator-valued measure that justifies the Levitov-Lesovik formula in the long-time limit, but can be generalized to the detection of finite-frequency noise correlations.

Introduction to Graphene-Based Nanomaterials: Klein tunneling and ballistic transport in graphene and related materials
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a simple real-space mode-decomposition scheme, which can be exploited to obtain analytical results or to boost numerical calculations, and discuss Fabry-Perot interference, contact effects, and the minimum conductivity in the 2D limit.

Transition from metallic to tunneling regimes in superconducting microconstrictions: Excess current, charge imbalance, and supercurrent conversion
TL;DR: In this paper, the Bogoliubov equations were used to model the transmission and reflection of particles at the tunnel junction of normal-superconducting micro-constriction contacts, and a simple theory for the $I\ensuremath{-}V$ curves of normal superconducting contacts was proposed to describe the crossover from metallic to tunnel junction behavior.
