Shot noise in mesoscopic conductors
TLDR
Theoretical and experimental work concerned with dynamic fluctuations has developed into a very active and fascinating subfield of mesoscopic physics as discussed by the authors, which can be used to obtain information on a system which is not available through conductance measurements.About:

Shot-noise statistics in diffusive conductors
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors considered a semi-classical model with an exclusion principle in a discretized single-particle phase-space and showed that the probability distribution of the charge transmitted through a mesoscopic diffusive conductor during a measurement time T is a universal probability distribution which agrees with the quantum mechanical prediction of Lee, Levitov and Yakovets.
A parameter-optimizing model-based approach to the analysis of low-SNR image sequences for biological virus detection
TL;DR: The optimization approach can serve in accelerating the advancement of the sensor prototype towards a final setup of its physical parameters: in this scenario, frequent changes in physical sensor parameters make the automatic adaptation of algorithmic process parameters a desirable goal.

TL;DR: In this paper, the shot noise for spin-polarized currents and electron entanglement was studied in a beam-splitter geometry with a local Rashba spinorbit (s-o) interaction in the incoming leads.

Charge fluctuations and feedback effect in shot noise in a Y-terminal system
TL;DR: In this article, a dynamical Coulomb blockade effect and its role in the enhancement of current-current correlations in a three-terminal device with a multilevel splitter, as well as with two quantum dots was investigated.

Finite frequency noise in a normal metal–topological superconductor junction
TL;DR: In this article, a biased junction between a normal metal and a topological superconductor nanowire was studied and the finite frequency emission and absorption noise was quantified for bias voltages below and above the superconducting gap, showing that the Majorana bound state is directly related to a characteristic behavior of the noise spectrum at low frequency.

Transition from metallic to tunneling regimes in superconducting microconstrictions: Excess current, charge imbalance, and supercurrent conversion
TL;DR: In this paper, the Bogoliubov equations were used to model the transmission and reflection of particles at the tunnel junction of normal-superconducting micro-constriction contacts, and a simple theory for the $I\ensuremath{-}V$ curves of normal superconducting contacts was proposed to describe the crossover from metallic to tunnel junction behavior.
