Shot noise in mesoscopic conductors
TLDR
Theoretical and experimental work concerned with dynamic fluctuations has developed into a very active and fascinating subfield of mesoscopic physics as discussed by the authors, which can be used to obtain information on a system which is not available through conductance measurements.About:

Ultrafast molecular dynamics in terahertz-STM experiments: Theoretical analysis using the Anderson-Holstein model
TL;DR: In this article, the electron transport under a ultrafast THz pulse, through the Anderson impurity coupled to a phonon mode using non-Gaussian state theory, was investigated, and the onset of long-lived oscillations of the phonon persisting long after the end of the pulse.

Stochastic approach and fluctuation theorem for ion transport
David Andrieux,Pierre Gaspard +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a stochastic approach for ion transport at the mesoscopic level is presented, taking into account the self-consistent electric field generated by the fixed and mobile charges as well as the discrete nature of the latter.

Ultrafast molecular dynamics in terahertz-STM experiments: Theoretical analysis using Anderson-Holstein model
TL;DR: In this article, the Anderson-Holstein model was applied to study the electron-phonon interaction in the Kondo regime in the absence of coupling to phonons, and it correctly reproduces key properties of the model, including the screening of the impurity spin, formation of the resonance at the Fermi energy, and a linear conductance of $2e^2/h.

Spin-dependent shot noise of inelastic transport through molecular quantum dots
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of inelastic electron scattering on spin-dependent transport characteristics (conductance, current-voltage dependence, magnetoresistance, shot noise spectrum, Fano factor) for magnetic nanojunction was analyzed.

From Anderson Localization to Mesoscopic Physics
TL;DR: In this paper, a review of electron transport phenomena which can be expressed elegantly in terms of the scattering matrix is presented. But electron transport properties depend not only on transmission probabilities but also on both amplitude and phase of scattering matrix elements.

Transition from metallic to tunneling regimes in superconducting microconstrictions: Excess current, charge imbalance, and supercurrent conversion
TL;DR: In this paper, the Bogoliubov equations were used to model the transmission and reflection of particles at the tunnel junction of normal-superconducting micro-constriction contacts, and a simple theory for the $I\ensuremath{-}V$ curves of normal superconducting contacts was proposed to describe the crossover from metallic to tunnel junction behavior.
