Shot noise in mesoscopic conductors
TLDR
Theoretical and experimental work concerned with dynamic fluctuations has developed into a very active and fascinating subfield of mesoscopic physics as discussed by the authors, which can be used to obtain information on a system which is not available through conductance measurements.About:

Fano effect on shot noise through a Kondo-correlated quantum dot
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the Keldysh technique and the equation of motion method to study the shot noise for a wide range of source-drain voltages within a model incorporating the additional states as a background continuum, demonstrating the importance of Fano interference.

High-temperature fusion of a multielectron leviton
TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that at sufficiently high temperatures, the correlation contribution to noise predominates over the contribution of individual particles in the system of a single electron injected onto the surface of the Fermi sea.
Journal ArticleDOI
Two-dimensional higher order noise spectroscopy up to radio frequencies
TL;DR: Unlike the usual power spectrum, the correlation spectrum is shown to contain information on both the homogeneous and inhomogeneous linewidths of a signal, suggesting applications in spin noise spectroscopy and signal analysis in general.

Optimization of quantized charge pumping using full counting statistics
TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluate the statistics of pumped charge on a wide range of driving frequencies using Floquet theory, focusing here on the current and the noise, and demonstrate that their theoretical framework may lead to enhanced device performance.

Full Counting Statistics of Photons Emitted by a Double Quantum Dot
Canran Xu,Maxim Vavilov +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed the full counting statistics of photons emitted by a double quantum dot coupled to a high-quality microwave resonator by electric dipole interaction and showed that at the resonant condition between the energy splitting of the DQD and the photon energy in the resonator, photon statistics exhibits both a sub-Poissonian distribution and antibunching.

Transition from metallic to tunneling regimes in superconducting microconstrictions: Excess current, charge imbalance, and supercurrent conversion
TL;DR: In this paper, the Bogoliubov equations were used to model the transmission and reflection of particles at the tunnel junction of normal-superconducting micro-constriction contacts, and a simple theory for the $I\ensuremath{-}V$ curves of normal superconducting contacts was proposed to describe the crossover from metallic to tunnel junction behavior.
