A system for measuring auto- and cross-correlation of current noise at low temperatures

TL;DR: In this article, a two-channel noise detection system for measuring power and cross spectral densities of current fluctuations near 2 MHz in electronic devices at low temperatures is described, which employs cryogenic amplification and fast Fourier transform based spectral measurement.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spin Current Noise of the Spin Seebeck Effect and Spin Pumping.

TL;DR: It is shown that the spin-current noise can be used to determine the effective spin carried by a magnon modified by the non-spin-conserving process at the interface, and it provides information on the effectivespin of aMagnon, heating at the interfaces under spin pumping, and spin Hall angle of the NM.

Fluctuation theorem and microreversibility in a quantum coherent conductor

TL;DR: In this paper, the electron exchange process via a quantum coherent conductor between two reservoirs is described, which yields the fluctuation theorem (FT) in mesoscopic transport, which is semiquantitatively validated in the current and noise measurement in an Aharonov-Bohm ring.
Journal ArticleDOI

Current noise spectra and mechanisms with dissipaton equation of motion theory.

TL;DR: It is revealed that the intrinsic electron cotunneling process is responsible for the characteristic signature of current noise at anti-Stokes frequency.
Journal ArticleDOI

Indication of Complete Spin Filtering in Atomic-Scale Nickel Oxide.

TL;DR: It is shown that spin filtering can be significantly enhanced by local chemical modifications at the single-atom level, which paves the way for effective manipulations of spin transport at the fundamental limit of miniaturization.

Transition from metallic to tunneling regimes in superconducting microconstrictions: Excess current, charge imbalance, and supercurrent conversion

TL;DR: In this paper, the Bogoliubov equations were used to model the transmission and reflection of particles at the tunnel junction of normal-superconducting micro-constriction contacts, and a simple theory for the $I\ensuremath{-}V$ curves of normal superconducting contacts was proposed to describe the crossover from metallic to tunnel junction behavior.
