Analyses of vaccine-specific circulating and bone marrow-resident B cell populations reveal benefit of delayed vaccine booster dosing with blood-stage malaria antigens

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors reported enhanced induction of DBPRII-specific plasma cell and memory B cell responses in protein/adjuvant versus viral vector vaccinees. And they also showed that delayed boosting further improved B cell immunogenicity as compared to a monthly boosting regimen.

The efficacy of vaccines in the context of COVID-19 and its variants: Role of Spatio-temporal boundary

TL;DR: In this paper, a mathematical framework for analyzing the efficacy of vaccines is introduced based on the standard definition of vaccine efficacy and the idea of combined efficacy is introduced to characterize a vaccine efficacy as obtained from various clinical trials carried out across the world for Covid-19.

Chest CT features of COVID-19 in vaccinated versus unvaccinated patients: use of CT severity score and outcome analysis

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated the impact of vaccination on severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection and moreover on COVID-19 pneumonia by assessing the extent of lung disease using the CT severity score (CTSS).

Inoculation works and health advocacy backfires: Building resistance to COVID-19 vaccine misinformation in a low political trust context

TL;DR: In this paper , the effectiveness of the inoculation strategy in countering vaccine-related misinformation among Hong Kong college students was examined, and the results showed that inoculation messages were superior to supportive messages at generating resistance to misinformation, as evidenced by more positive vaccine attitudes and stronger vaccine intention.

Safety and immunogenicity of ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccine administered in a prime-boost regimen in young and old adults (COV002): a single-blind, randomised, controlled, phase 2/3 trial.

TL;DR: The specific objectives of this report were to assess the safety and humoral and cellular immunogenicity of a single-dose and two-dose schedule in adults older than 55 years, and safety, as measured by the occurrence of serious adverse events.
