Journal ArticleDOI

SPATIAL-DEPENDENT PROPAGATION OF COSMIC RAYS RESULTS IN SPECTRUM OF PROTON, RATIOS OF (p)over-bar/p, B/C AND ANISOTROPY OF NUCLEI

TL;DR: In this article, the spatial-dependent diffusion coefficient D(r, z, p) is employed by tracing the source distribution under the physical picture of the two-halo model in the DRAGON package.
Journal ArticleDOI

Baryon Loading Efficiency and Particle Acceleration Efficiency of Relativistic Jets: Cases For Low Luminosity BL Lacs

TL;DR: In this article, a multi-wavelength spectral analysis of quiescent spectra of 13 TeV gamma-ray detected high-frequency-peaked BL Lacs (HBLs) following one-zone static synchrotron-self-Compton (SSC) model was performed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Probing the cosmic-ray content of galaxy clusters by stacking Fermi-LAT count maps

TL;DR: In this article, a collection of stacked Fermi-LAT count maps was used to search for a cumulative gamma-ray emission in the direction of galaxy clusters by analysing the stacked count maps.
Journal ArticleDOI

Implications of electron acceleration for high-energy radiation from gamma-ray bursts

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated whether electrons can be accelerated to energies such that they radiate synchrotron photons with energy up to about 10 GeV in this particular scenario and found that these electrons remain confined to the shock front, as long as the upstream magnetic field is ≳ 10 μG.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coalescence of Macroscopic Magnetic Islands and Electron Acceleration from STEREO Observation

TL;DR: In this article, the merging of magnetic islands in a CME's trailing current sheet and associated electron acceleration was studied. But the authors focused on the first time both the merging and electron acceleration were observed.
