X-ray analysis of ZnO nanoparticles by Williamson–Hall and size–strain plot methods

TLDR
In this paper, the authors used the Williamson-Hall analysis and size-strain plot method to study the individual contributions of crystallite sizes and lattice strain on the peak broadening of ZnO-NPs.

Photo-generated reactive oxygen species assisted tandem amine homocoupling and amine-alcohol cross-coupling reaction on mesoporous spinel cobalt oxide

TL;DR: In this article, the shape-specific binding of amine on the cobalt oxide active sites was proposed based on substrate scope study, and a tandem synthesis strategy was introduced to selectively synthesize amine (aliphatic/aromatic) homo-coupled imines and amine-alcohol cross-couple imines.

Simple mass production of zinc oxide nanostructures via low-temperature hydrothermal synthesis

TL;DR: In this article, large scale hydrothermal synthesis of ZnO nanostructures (60 g) was performed in a 5 l stainless steel autoclave by reaction between anionic (ammonia or sodium hydroxide) and cationic (zinc acetate dehydrate) precursors in low temperature.

A comparative study on compressive deformation and corrosion behaviour of heat treated Ti4wt%Al foam of different porosity made of milled and unmilled powders.

TL;DR: Ti4wt%Al alloy foams of various porosities were prepared using milled and unmilled powders through space holder technique and it was observed that plastic collapse stress, elastic modulus, plateau stress and energy absorption capacity are strong function of porosity and these are higher for the foam made of milled powder (Mf) than those of the foammade of unmilled one (Uf).

Diluted magnetic semiconducting properties of nanocrystalline Zn0.98X0.02O (X = Fe, Ga, Ni) thin films deposited by PLD technique for spintronic applications

TL;DR: In this article, the properties of pristine ZnO, Fe-doped (Zn0.98Fe0.02O), Ga-Doped and Ni-Doping (Ni 0.98Ni0.2O) thin films have been studied and X-ray diffraction studies reveal the nanocrystalline nature in single wurtzite phase of all the films.
