BDNF Overexpression Increases Striatal D3 Receptor Level at Striatal Neurons and Exacerbates D1-Receptor Agonist-Induced Dyskinesia.

TL;DR: Evidence is provided for a functional link between BDNF, D3 receptors and D1-D3 receptor close interaction in the augmented susceptibility to dyskinesia in 6-OHDA-lesioned rats and it is suggested that D1/D3 receptors interaction may be instrumental in driving the molecular alterations underlying the appearance of dysKinesia.
Book ChapterDOI

Trophic effects on cholinergic striatal interneurons by submaxillary gland transplants.

TL;DR: The results presented in this chapter suggest that the submaxillary gland grafts exert a trophic effect on the cholinergic interneurons in the striatum of adult rats.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent developments in aldehyde-induced monoamine fluorescence: the aluminum-formaldehyde (ALFA) method applied to immature and adult central nervous tissue.

TL;DR: The use of freeze-dried, paraffin-embedded tissue in the ALFA method makes possible convenient storage and parallel processing of many specimens, and this mode of processing also allowsen boc reaction, which is the only way by which consistent and reproducible fluorescence yields can be obtained throughout large series of sections and parallel-processed specimens.
Journal ArticleDOI

On the duration of unemployment in sweden : 1965-1976

TL;DR: In this article, the structural changes in the duration of unemployment in Sweden during the period 1965-1976 are analyzed, and the results show that it has been stable over the last 50 years.
