Weiss,Jakob Wirz,Klaas A. Zachariasse +44 more
TL;DR: A glossary that was prepared by the Photochemistry Commission of the Organic Chemistry Division of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry during the period 1978-1985 is presented in this paper, which provides definitions of terms and symbols commonly used in the field in order to achieve consensus on the adoption of some definitions and on the abandonment of inadequate terms.
Journal ArticleDOI
Interaction of radical pairs through-bond and through-space: scope and limitations of the point-dipole approximation in electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy.
Christoph Riplinger,Joseph P. Y. Kao,Gerald M. Rosen,Velavan Kathirvelu,Gareth R. Eaton,Sandra S. Eaton,Andrei G. Kutateladze,Frank Neese +7 more
TL;DR: The results of this analysis demonstrate that even very modest amounts of spin delocalization can cause significant deviations from pure point-dipole behavior and consequently cause the EPR derived distances to deviate from the N-O midpoint distance by up to several angstroms.
Journal ArticleDOI
High-Throughput in Silico Structure Validation and Revision of Halogenated Natural Products Is Enabled by Parametric Corrections to DFT-Computed 13C NMR Chemical Shifts and Spin–Spin Coupling Constants
TL;DR: This paper examines more than 100 structures of halogenated terpenoids and other natural products with the new parametric approach and demonstrates that the accuracy of the combined method is sufficient to identify misassignments and suggest revisions in most cases.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multivalent mechanism of membrane insertion by the FYVE domain.
Tatiana G. Kutateladze,Daniel G. S. Capelluto,Colin G. Ferguson,Matthew L. Cheever,Andrei G. Kutateladze,Glenn D. Prestwich,Michael Overduin +6 more
TL;DR: The FYVE domain is targeted to endosomes through the synergistic action of stereospecific PtdIns(3)P head group ligation, hydrophobic insertion and electrostatic interactions with acidic phospholipids.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Value of Universally Available Raw NMR Data for Transparency, Reproducibility, and Integrity in Natural Product Research

Williams,Philip G. Williams,Julien Wist,Jian Min Yue,Chen Zhang,Zhengren Xu,Charlotte Simmler,David C. Lankin,Jonathan Bisson,Guido F. Pauli +74 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a comprehensive review of the scientific value of disseminating raw nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) data, independently of, and in parallel with, classical publishing outlets.
