Aspects of low heterostructure symmetry in (311)A (In,Ga)As/GaAs
TL;DR: In this article, structural and optical properties of (In,Ga)As/GaAs heterostructures induced by the low symmetry of the [311]A orientation were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Percolation context in mixed crystals with mechanical contrast
Olivier Pagès,M. Ajjoun,T. Tite,D. Bormann,Eric Tournié,M. Ducarroir,Oleg Maksimov,M.C. Tamargo +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a straightforward model based on percolation is used to simulate the spectra; no adjustable parameter is required, and preliminary results obtained with low-N content GaNxAs1−x alloy suggest that their picture extends to arriving III-V alloys with contrast in the bulk modulus.
Journal ArticleDOI
p-Type doping of ZnSe and related materials controlled by diluting nitrogen in an inert gas
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the possibility to dilute N 2 in Argon for RF-plasma p-type doping of ZnSe layers and showed that this technique gives a large flexibility which allows to control the free-hole concentration in the whole range from 10 15 to 10 18 ǫ −3.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigations of InSb-based quantum dots grown by molecular-beam epitaxy
N. Deguffroy,Vittorianna Tasco,Alexei N. Baranov,Biswarup Satpati,Achim Trampert,M. Dunaevski,A. N. Titkov,Frédéric Genty,Eric Tournié +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors showed that a high density (∼7 x 1010 cm-2) of small coherent quantum dots can be grown by using a two-step procedure.
