Ch. Legendre,Christoph Licht,Petra Muus,Laurence Greenbaum,Sunil Babu,C. Bedrosian,C. Bingham,David J. Cohen,Y. Delmas,Kenneth W. Douglas,Frank Eitner,Thorsten Feldkamp,Denis Fouque,Richard R. Furman,Osama Gaber,Maria Herthelius,Maryvonne Hourmant,Diana Karpman,Yvon Lebranchu,Christophe Mariat,Jan Menne,Bruno Moulin,Jens Nürnberger,Masayo Ogawa,Giuseppe Remuzzi,T. Richard,Rebecca Sberro-Soussan,B. Severino,Neil S. Sheerin,Antonella Trivelli,L.B. Zimmerhackl,Timothy H.J. Goodship,Chantal Loirat +32 more
TL;DR: Eculizumab inhibited complement-mediated thrombotic microangiopathy and was associated with significant time-dependent improvement in renal function in patients with atypical hemolytic-uremic syndrome and was also associated with improvement in health-related quality of life.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mycophenolate versus azathioprine as maintenance therapy for lupus nephritis
Mary Anne Dooley,David Jayne,Ellen M. Ginzler,David A. Isenberg,Nancy J. Olsen,David Wofsy,Frank Eitner,Gerald B. Appel,Gabriel Contreras,Laura Lisk,Neil Solomons +10 more
TL;DR: Mycophenolate mofetil was superior to azathioprine in maintaining a renal response to treatment and in preventing relapse in patients with lupus nephritis who had a response to induction therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: The establishment of a reproducible, high resolution method for peptidome analysis of naturally occurring human urinary peptides and proteins, ranging from 800 to 17,000 Da, using samples from 3,600 individuals analyzed by capillary electrophoresis coupled to MS is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: A genome-wide association study of IgA nephropathy (IgAN), the most common form of glomerulonephritis, with discovery and follow-up in 20,612 individuals of European and East Asian ancestry is performed, suggesting a possible role for host–intestinal pathogen interactions in shaping the genetic landscape of IgAN.
Journal ArticleDOI
