On making the Right Choice: A Meta-Analysis and Large-Scale Replication Attempt of the Unconscious Thought Advantage

TL;DR: The authors report a meta-analysis and a large-scale replication study (N = 423) that met the conditions deemed optimal for replicating the UTA, and conclude that there exists no reliable support for the existence of an UTA in making a difficult choice.

A Note on the Relationship Between the Number of Indicators and Their Reliability in Detecting Regression Coefficients in Latent Regression Analysis

TL;DR: This work considers the question of how variation in the number and reliability of indicators affects the power to reject the hypothesis that the regression coefficients are zero in latent linear regression analysis and shows that power remains constant as long as the coefficient of determination remains unchanged.

The value of statistical tools to detect data fabrication

TL;DR: This proposal outlines three projects to assess the value of such statistical tools to detect potential data fabrication and make the first steps in order to apply them automatically to detect data anomalies, potentially due to data fabrication.
