The dichlorovinylation of enolates

TL;DR: In this paper, the trans stereochemistry for one such product is established by X-ray, and subsequent transformations of these initial products to ethinyl or ω-chloroethinyl derivatives is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel triterpenoids from the roots of Buxus papillosa

TL;DR: In this paper, three new compounds have been isolated from the roots of Buxus papillosa and the structures of thes steroidal compounds were determined by using X-ray diffraction and spectroscopic techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI

Three pregnane-10,2-carbolactones from a sponge, Strongylophora sp.

Dihydroquinazolinone Inhibitors of Proliferation of Blood and Liver Stage Malaria Parasites

TL;DR: Evaluation of a 259-member library of compounds that block proliferation of the blood stage of malaria revealed several scaffolds—dihydroquinazolinones, phenyldiazenylpyridines, piperazinyl methyl quinolones, and bis-benzimidazoles—with promising activity against the liver stage.
