J. Endres,Elena Litvinova,Deniz Savran,P. A. Butler,Mohsen Harakeh,Sotirios Harissopulos,R-D Herzberg,R. Krücken,A. Lagoyannis,Norbert Pietralla,V. Yu. Ponomarev,Lucia Popescu,Peter Ring,Marcus Scheck,Kerstin Sonnabend,V. Stoica,H. J. Wörtche,Andreas Zilges +17 more
TL;DR: Calculations with the self-consistent relativistic quasiparticle time-blocking approximation and the quAsiparticle phonon model are in qualitative agreement with the experimental results and predict a low-lying isoscalar component dominated by neutron-skin oscillations and a higher-lying more isovector component on the tail of the giant dipole resonance.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed to install a storage ring at an ISOL-type radioactive beam facility for the first time, which can provide a capability for experiments with stored secondary beams that is unique in the world.

Fine structure of the pygmy dipole resonance in (136)Xe.
Deniz Savran,M. Fritzsche,J. Hasper,K. Lindenberg,Stefan Müller,V. Yu. Ponomarev,Kerstin Sonnabend,Andreas Zilges +7 more
TL;DR: Microscopic calculations in the quasiparticle phonon model including complex configurations of up to three phonons agree well with the experimental data in the total integrated strength, in the shape and the fragmentation of the resonance, which allows to draw conclusions on the damping mechanism of the pygmy dipole resonance.
