Assessing Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 Tropism: Comparison of Assays Using Replication-Competent Virus versus Plasma-Derived Pseudotyped Virions
Noriaki Hosoya,Zhaohui Su,Timothy J. Wilkin,Roy M. Gulick,Charles Flexner,Michael Hughes,Paul R. Skolnik,Francoise Giguel,Wayne Greaves,Eoin Coakley,Daniel R. Kuritzkes +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the Trofile-based CXCR4-using human immunodeficiency virus was compared to that by assays using virus isolates or replication-competent recombinants.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
A Single-Mode Expanded Beam Separable Fiber Optic Interconnect for Silicon Photonics
TL;DR: An expanded beam optical interconnect is introduced that provides a separable connection between photonic integrated circuit and single-mode fiber.
Journal ArticleDOI
Control of visibility profile in spectral low-coherence interferometry
TL;DR: In this paper, an asymmetric profile was generated for the visibility of the channelled spectrum (V) with optical path difference (OPD) by using a lateral shift of the beam, inspired by Talbot bands studies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Further evidence that chilblains are a cutaneous manifestation of COVID-19 infection.
TL;DR: Using clinical data and images, the authors of a recent nationwide Spanish survey identified 5 clinical patterns which were associated with different patient demographics, onset (timing), and prognosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Racial identity and the quality of life among blacks and whites in the U.S.
K. Jill Kiecolt,Michael Hughes +1 more
TL;DR: Investigation of how ingroup closeness, ingroup evaluation, and ingroup bias are associated with happiness, positive affect about life, and generalized trust for blacks and whites, using partial proportional odds models finds that ingroup closeness and more favorable ingroups evaluation had mostly positive associations with the quality of life dimensions.
