Journal ArticleDOI
Activation of genes for growth factor and cytokine pathways late in chondrogenic differentiation of ATDC5 cells.
Aki Osawa,Masaki Kato,Eriko Matsumoto,Katsuro Iwase,Sugimoto Takashi,Tsutomu Matsui,Hiroshi Ishikura,Sumio Sugano,Hisashi Kurosawa,Masaki Takiguchi,Naohiko Seki +10 more
TL;DR: Interdigitated interaction between a number of intercellular signaling molecules is likely to take place in the late chondrogenic stage for autocrine and paracrine regulation among chondrocytes, as well as for chemoattraction and stimulation of progenitor cells of other lineages.
Journal ArticleDOI
cDNA cloning of a novel human gene NAKAP95, neighbor of A-kinase anchoring protein 95 (AKAP95) on chromosome 19p13.11-p13.12 region.
TL;DR: The exon-intron structure of NAKAP95 and AKAP95 was conserved, indicating that they may have evolved by gene duplication, and a reverse transcription coupled (RT)-PCR experiment revealed that the NAK AP95 gene was transcribed ubiquitously in various human tissues.
Journal ArticleDOI
Expression profiling of liver cell lines expressing entire or parts of hepatitis C virus open reading frame: Expression Profiling of Liver Cell Lines Expressing Entire or Parts of Hepatitis C Virus Open Reading Frame
Hideki Aizaki,Takashi Harada,Motoyuki Otsuka,Naohiko Seki,Mami Matsuda,Yue Wei Li,Hayato Kawakami,Yoshiharu Matsuura,Tatsuo Miyamura,Tetsuro Suzuki +9 more
Journal Article
Liver chip and gene shaving.
Motoyuki Otsuka,Yuujin Hoshida,Naoya Kato,Masaru Moriyama,Hiroyoshi Taniguchi,Makoto Arai,Mikito Mori,Naohiko Seki,Masao Omata +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the gene expression profiling in three human digestive tissues, liver, stomach, and pancreas, was catalogued by generating a large number of expressed sequence tags, and clarified how quantitatively the gene expressions are different.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structure, expression profile, and chromosomal location of a mouse gene homologous to human DNA-PKcs interacting protein (KIP) gene.
Toshiyuki Saito,Naohiko Seki,Atsushi Hattori,Akiko Hayashi,Masumi Abe,Ryoko Araki,Akira Fujimori,Ryutaro Fukumura,Sumie Kozuma,Yoichi Matsuda +9 more
TL;DR: This poster presents a probabilistic procedure for determining the carrier status of canine coronavirus through X-ray diffraction analysis, and some examples of such studies showed positive results were obtained in animals and humans.
