Whole Exome Sequencing Identifies Frequent Somatic Mutations in Cell-Cell Adhesion Genes in Chinese Patients with Lung Squamous Cell Carcinoma
Chenguang Li,Chenguang Li,Zhibo Gao,Fei Li,Xiangchun Li,Yihua Sun,Mengyun Wang,Dan Li,Rui Wang,Fuming Li,Rong Fang,Yunjian Pan,Xiaoyang Luo,Jing He,Liangtao Zheng,Jufeng Xia,Li-Xin Qiu,Jun He,Ting Ye,Ruoxin Zhang,Minghui He,Meiling Zhu,Haichuan Hu,Tingyan Shi,Xiaoyan Zhou,Menghong Sun,Shilin Tian,Yong Zhou,Qiaoxiu Wang,Chen Longyun,Guangliang Yin,Jingya Lu,Renhua Wu,Guangwu Guo,Yingrui Li,Xueda Hu,Lin Li,Asan,Qin Wang,Ye Yin,Qiang Feng,Bin Wang,Hang Wang,Mingbang Wang,Xiaonan Yang,Xiuqing Zhang,Huanming Yang,Li Jin,Cun Yu Wang,Hongbin Ji,Haiquan Chen,Jun Wang,Qingyi Wei,Qingyi Wei +53 more
TL;DR: It is observed that knockdown of CDH10 promoted cell proliferation, soft-agar colony formation, cell migration and cell invasion, and overexpression ofCDH10 inhibited cell proliferation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Excess of rare variants in genes that are key epigenetic regulators of spermatogenesis in the patients with non-obstructive azoospermia.
Zesong Li,Yi Huang,Honggang Li,Jingchu Hu,Xiao Liu,Tao Jiang,Guangqing Sun,Aifa Tang,Xiaojuan Sun,Weiping Qian,Yong Zeng,Jun Xie,Wei Zhao,Yu Xu,Tingting He,Chengliang Dong,Qunlong Liu,Lisha Mou,Jingxiao Lu,Zheguang Lin,Song Wu,Shengjie Gao,Guangwu Guo,Qiang Feng,Yingrui Li,Xiuqing Zhang,Jun Wang,Huanming Yang,Jian Wang,Chengliang Xiong,Zhiming Cai,Yaoting Gui +31 more
TL;DR: The study suggested the potential associations of genetic defects in genes that are epigenetic regulators with spermatogenic failure in human by identifying individual genes showing nominal associations and testing the genetic burden of a given biological process as a whole.
Journal ArticleDOI
Whole-genome sequencing of matched primary and metastatic hepatocellular carcinomas
Limei Ouyang,Jeeyun Lee,Cheol-Keun Park,Mao Mao,Yujian Shi,Zhuolin Gong,Hancheng Zheng,Yingrui Li,Yonggang Zhao,Guangbiao Wang,Huiling Fu,Jhingook Kim,Ho Yeong Lim +12 more
TL;DR: Preservations in genomic profiles from liver primary tumors to metachronous lung metastases indicate that the genomic features during tumorigenesis may be retained during metastasis, which may explain the clinical observation that both primary and metastatic tumors are usually sensitive or resistant to the same systemic treatments.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rhythms of serum melatonin in patients with spinal lesions at the cervical, thoracic or lumbar region.
TL;DR: The data suggest that the cervical region of the spinal cord is part of the neural pathway essential for the diurnal rhythm of pineal melatonin secretion in human beings.
Journal ArticleDOI
Inference of Purifying and Positive Selection in Three Subspecies of Chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes) from Exome Sequencing
Thomas Bataillon,Jinjie Duan,Christina Hvilsom,Christina Hvilsom,Xin Jin,Yingrui Li,Laurits Skov,Sylvain Glémin,Kasper Munch,Tao Jiang,Yu Qian,Asger Hobolth,Jun Wang,Thomas Mailund,Hans R. Siegismund,Mikkel H. Schierup +15 more
TL;DR: Coding indels show stronger selection against indels changing the reading frame than observed in human populations, and the strength of purifying selection the authors infer is congruent with the differences in effective sizes of each subspecies.
