TL;DR: Tydskrif vir letterkunde as discussed by the authors is a review on the literature of Africa and the African Diaspora, published in French, Dutch and English and not only in Afrikaans, as in the past.
Abstract: In many ways, this special issue of Tydskrif vir Letterkunde is all about identity, seen dynamically in terms of literary artefacts and intellectual and cultural constructs. It involves change, exchange, mutations. This does not concern only Nigerien national identity in the making, but also the new foundation of emerging South African identity. The change of orientation of Tydskrif vir Letterkunde, the literary review at the origin of this special issue, seems significant and symptomatic in this regard. Created in 1951, the review was originally limited to publications on Afrikaans literature. In recent years, following a new editorial mandate, it welcomes a much wider variety of scholarly articles on the literature of Africa and the African Diaspora. Tydskrif vir Letterkunde currently publishes in French, Dutch and English and not only in Afrikaans, as it did in the past. However, in order to reach as wide a public as possible, this special issue will be published bilingually, on paper and electronically, in English and French respectively. Seen from Niger and from the Abdou Moumouni University of Niamey, academic and cultural identity has a lot to do with the elaboration of this volume. The majority of the contributing authors, specialists of literature for the most part, collaborate in interdisciplinary research on Nigerien literature and cultures as members of the research group on “Literature, Gender and Development. Nigerien Visions and Perspectives”. But contributors also include a civil engineer, a specialist of sports and a philosopher. Most, but not all, are Nigerien, they all share a common love of Niger, a common passion for local cultures, and a common commitment to the development and diffusion of its cultural wealth. In fact, the idea put forward decades ago by the first Pan Africanist militants that culture, its study and diffusion, at home and abroad, is a factor and an indicator of a country’s development, underpins the work of all the authors in this issue. Their scholarly endeavours evolve in the context of a country facing formidable developmental challenges on all fronts, simultaneously, with reduced finan

TL;DR: In this paper, two different ways of implementing quantum effects in a classical structure are explored, one through an external field and the other one through modifying the classical conservation laws, and the consequences for the description of the evolution of the universe are discussed.
Abstract: In this paper, we explore two different ways of implementing quantum effects in a classical structure. The first one is through an external field. The other one is modifying the classical conservation laws. In both cases, the consequences for the description of the evolution of the universe are discussed.

TL;DR: In this paper, the diversity and exploitation patterns of natural pastures in Niger have been characterized and a typology of these pastures as well as the floristic richness according to the phytogeographical compartments of the country.
Abstract: This study aims to characterize the diversity and exploitation patterns of natural pastures in Niger. The latter are full of a variety of plant species valued mainly in food (human and animal), indigenous medicine (to treat human and animal diseases) and crafts. However, climate change coupled with inappropriate anthropogenic activities have drastically disrupted the functioning of these ecosystems. This has led to the decline in the productivity of these environments, the rarefaction or even the disappearance of certain forage species, and especially the proliferation of invasive plant species without pastoral value such as Sida cordifolia . This bibliographic synthesis first presents the typology of these pastures as well as the floristic richness according to the phytogeographical compartments of the country. Next, she attempts to list endangered and invasively refuted plant species and their effects on natural pastures. Finally, the study discusses the methods of exploitation of these pastures without forgetting the legislative and regulatory tools in order to optimize their use.

TL;DR: In this article, three new harpagide derivatives have been isolated from the aerial parts of Rogeria adenophylla (Pedaliaceae) and their structures have been established as 8- O - cis-cinnamoylharpagide, 8 − O - trans - p -coumaroyl harpagides, procumbide and verbascoside.
Abstract: Three new harpagide derivatives have been isolated from the aerial parts of Rogeria adenophylla (Pedaliaceae). Their structures have been established as 8- O - cis -cinnamoylharpagide, 8- O - cis -cinnamoyl-6- O -β- d -glucosyl-harpagide and 6′- O - p -coumaroyl harpagide respectively, the p -coumaroyl moiety of the latter existing in either the trans or cis configuration. In addition, harpagide, harpagoside, 8- O - trans - p -coumaroylharpagide, procumbide and verbascoside have been isolated and identified.

TL;DR: It emerges that there is no a priori a better method, so it is necessary to determine the method adapted to both the data collected and the research objective.
Abstract: Several multivariate statistical methods are used in population genetics but there are very few studies that have revealed the strengths and weaknesses of different methods. Thus, this study aims to reveal the strengths and weaknesses of the different multivariate statistical methods used in population genetics through the world. This synthesis is carried out according to the methodology "Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes" (PRISMA). This study shown that various statistical methods or combination of multivariate statistical methods are used in population genetics. It emerges that there is no a priori a better method, so it is necessary to determine the method adapted to both the data collected and the research objective. This study identified the most commonly used multivariate statistical methods in genetics such as: Ordination methods (52.50%) are methods that summarize the information contained in the data matrix by minimizing wastage. This are: principal components analysis (by 32.0% of the articles), principal coordinates analysis (by 7.50% of the articles), discriminant analysis of principal component, factorial correspondence analysis, factorial discriminant analysis, factorial analysis on distance table. Clustering methods (35%) that aim to form groups of individuals that are as similar as possible, including the hierarchical ascending clustering (17.50% of articles), neighbor-joining, and Bayesian clustering model (by 15% of the articles). The analysis of the molecular variance (7.50%) which consists of studying the intra and inter-population variation and the Mantel test (5%) which aims to test the correlation between the matrix of genetic distances and other distance matrices (environmental causes of genetic variability).
