TL;DR: In this paper, the use of a split-ring resonator (SRR)-loaded waveguide for the design of a band-rejection filter with adjustable bandwidth is reported, and the width of the stopband can be adjusted by suitably positioning the SRR array in the waveguide.
Abstract: The use of a split-ring resonator (SRR)-loaded waveguide for the design of a band-rejection filter with adjustable bandwidth is reported. The width of the stopband can be adjusted by suitably positioning the SRR array in the waveguide. The rejection band can be made very narrow by placing the array at the electric-field minimum. The stopband attenuation depends on the number of unit cells in the array. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. TL;DR: In this paper, the thermal diffusivity of the composites of camphor sulphonic acid (CSA) doped polyaniline (PANI) and its composites with cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPc) has been measured using open cell photoacoustic technique.
Abstract: Thermal diffusivity of the composites of camphor sulphonic acid (CSA) doped polyaniline (PANI) and its composites with cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPc) has been measured using open cell photoacoustic technique. Analysis of the data shows that the effective thermal diffusivity value can be tuned by varying the relative volume fraction of the constituents. It is seen that polaron assisted heat transfer mechanism is dominant in CSA doped PANI and these composites exhibit a thermal diffusivity value which is intermediate to that of CSA doped PANI and CoPc. The results obtained are correlated with the electrical conductivity and hardness measurements carried out on the samples.

TL;DR: In this paper, a strip loaded slotted broadband microstrip antenna is fed by an L-strip feed line to achieve impedance matching for the higher order modes of the patch antenna in addition to the existing resonances.
Abstract: A broadband ;L ; -strip fed printed microstrip antenna is presented. The strip loaded slotted broadband microstrip antenna is fed by an L-strip feed line to achieve impedance matching for the higher order modes of the patch antenna in addition to the existing resonances. The antenna offers 74% bandwidth when printed on a substrate of dielectric constant 4.2 and has an overall dimension of 42 × 55 × 3.2 mm3. The simulated and experimental reflection characteristics of the antenna with and without the L-feed along with radiation patterns, input impedance variations, gain and efficiency of the final antenna are presented and discussed. The time domain transient analysis indicates a minimum dispersion to the transmitted pulse.
